Faststream are working with a maritime solutions engineering company to bring on a Sales Manager who will develop the position with Norwegian customers across defence, government, and enterprise markets and seek to win new customers in the field of satellite communications and information services.

Key responsibilities:
  • Understand the Norwegian market, identify and prioritize new customers, and explore ways to win their business to maximize growth opportunities
  • Ensure potential customers are fully briefed on the portfolio of products, including hardware, solutions, airtime, projects, parts, and services
  • Provide sales support for specified customers, handling sales requests professionally and promptly to meet customer expectations
  • Build on existing relationships with partners and suppliers to deliver solutions that address customer needs for mutual benefit
  • Ensure smooth handling of sales orders and service issues, keeping the customer informed at all times about delivery and service issue resolutions

  • Experience in defense and/or government use cases, ideally with a Forces background or experience selling to these key customers
  • Personality, professionalism, flexibility, and market knowledge to be effective
  • Experience in satellite communication and/or related information services is beneficial, but not essential if you can quickly learn and adapt
  • Ability to operate independently and work as a team player, both in Norway and with the wider Defence & Government team
  • Strong customer focus and commercial awareness
  • Excellent customer relationship skills via telephone, email, and face-to-face interactions
