The Customer Service Executive plays a crucial role in managing and fulfilling the needs of clients and their cargo, ensuring seamless movement across various geographies, terminals, and vessels. As a key member of a dynamic team of 10, this executive collaborates closely with international colleagues and interacts with various departments to provide integrated service solutions.

Main Functions
  • Deliver proactive customer service by managing bookings and executing daily cargo operations efficiently.
  • Maintain regular communication with regional customers, including conducting customer visits to strengthen relationships.
  • Foster strong customer relations by adhering strictly to deadlines, ensuring best-in-class service delivery, and considering the cost implications of decisions.
  • Contribute to driving continuous improvement within the department and the broader business, constantly seeking ways to enhance processes and service quality.
  • Ensure effective communication with all stakeholders, both internally and externally, to facilitate smooth operations and resolve any issues promptly.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, International Trade, or related fields.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in customer service roles within the maritime industry or shipping companies.
  • Proficiency in English and Spanish (both spoken and written) to facilitate effective communication with international clients and teams.
  • Knowledge of Excel is desired.
  • Possession of a driver's license is desirable.
