Crewing Coordinator Position Available in Global Shipping Industry

Faststream is searching for a key position for a leading player in the global shipping industry, specializing in the transportation of various commodities across international waters. What Will You Do?
We are seeking a talented Crewing Coordinator to join a dynamic team. In this role, you will oversee all crewing activities for our diverse fleet, working closely with an operational team based in Manila.
  
Key Responsibilities:
As a Crewing Coordinator, your role will entail:
  • Overseeing efficient crewing services provided by our dedicated team
  • Ensuring adherence to defined crewing and vessel policies for onboard crews
  • Developing and maintaining the manning pool
  • Facilitating crew retention efforts
  • Updating and implementing crew policies and processes
  • Managing crew recruitment approval procedures
  • Implementing crew training and development initiatives
  • Monitoring crewing operational expenditure
  • Analyzing crew-related data and taking necessary actions



    Reporting Structure:

    You will report to senior management within our organization. Regular visits to our vessels, operating worldwide, are expected, and you will be a member of the Emergency Response Team.

    Qualifications:
    We are seeking an enthusiastic individual with:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or equivalent experience
    • Experience in a multinational marine environment
    • Excellent communication skills in English and Dutch
    • Knowledge of international social security and labour laws related to marine employment
    • Willingness to travel internationally
