At Faststream Recruitment, we are hiring a Client Account Lead to take ownership of recruitment delivery for some of our most established and strategically important maritime and energy clients.
This is a senior, client-facing role built around accountability, credibility, and long-term relationships.
No cold calling or new business development.
Commercial accountability through account performance and Net Fee Income delivery.
About the role
As a Client Account Lead, you will be the primary delivery contact for key global clients, managing end-to-end recruitment for specialist and business-critical roles. You’ll lead assignments with confidence, advise clients using insight and data, and maximise account performance through consistent, high-quality delivery.
You will work closely with senior client stakeholders and collaborate with our business development and leadership teams, allowing you to focus on delivery excellence, candidate quality, and sustainable account growth.
Key responsibilities:
Owning and managing delivery for key client accounts across maritime and energy
Leading full recruitment processes from briefing through to placement
Maximising Net Fee Income through effective account planning and delivery
Building and maintaining deep, proactive talent pipelines in specialist verticals
Acting as a trusted advisor, providing market insight, salary intelligence, and hiring guidance
Partnering with BD and leadership colleagues to strengthen long-term client relationships
Ensuring consistent, high-quality delivery across multiple concurrent assignments
Who we’re looking for:
Around 5 years’ experience in recruitment or talent delivery
A strong track record in relationship-led, delivery-focused recruitment
Comfortable owning account performance and commercial outcomes
High emotional intelligence and confidence working with senior stakeholders
A consultative mindset with sound commercial judgement
Highly organised, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing complex workloads

A competitive, senior-level base salary, reflecting the responsibility of the role - total reward of circa £60,000 in year 1 (base + uncapped commission)
