Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Claims Executive to join our team in London. This role involves providing claims handling services and advice to our members. You will be part of a specialised team supporting our global membership.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Handle assigned claims in accordance with procedures and provide claims-related advice.
  • Foster relationships with existing members and promote loss prevention activities.
  • Maintain accurate electronic filing of all correspondence related to claims.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of company procedures and systems.
  • Produce articles for company publications.
  • Support underwriting objectives.
  • Participate in training and develop relevant skills.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Person Specification:
  • LLB or LLM degree in Maritime Law.
  • Experience in handling personal injury matters in a related field such as an insurer or law firm.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong written skills.
  • Highly organized and able to prioritise workload.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a small team.
