The Opportunity
This is a senior, commercially focused position offering full ownership of your chartering portfolio. You’ll work closely with brokers, clients, and internal teams to secure profitable fixtures and enhance overall vessel performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Independently manage chartering activities across dry bulk and/or MPP cargoes
- Build and maintain strong relationships with brokers, clients, and shipowners
- Negotiate and conclude both voyage and time charter fixtures
- Monitor market trends and develop effective chartering strategies
- Collaborate with Operations on scheduling, voyage planning, and P&L management
- Play a key role in the continued commercial growth and development of the business
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in dry bulk or MPP/project cargo chartering
- Established network of brokers, clients, and vessel owners
- Strong commercial mindset and sound understanding of market dynamics
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and confident negotiator
- Fluent in English (German language skills are a plus)
- Bachelor’s degree preferred but not essential
