Operating globally across five major shipping hubs, they bring together industry veterans and top tech minds to tackle one of the biggest challenges in modern shipping: sustainable transformation.

With deep roots in shipping and a serious SaaS pedigree, the business is trusted by some of the biggest players in the industry and now they’re scaling their Northern European presence with this key hire in Hamburg.

What You’ll Be Doing

This is a pivotal commercial role focused on unlocking new business across Northern Europe, including Germany, Scandinavia, and the Netherlands.

You’ll be:
  • Leading outreach and sales efforts with maritime stakeholders impacted by EU regulations and sustainability pressures
  • Developing and nurturing relationships with shipowners, managers, operators, and other stakeholders across the Northern European shipping community
  • Supporting onboarding and activation efforts to ensure customers see early and lasting value
  • Feeding customer insights back to product and marketing teams to help shape future growth
  • Representing the company at key industry events, conferences, and client meetings
This role is based in Hamburg and involves regular travel across the region.

What We’re Looking For

We’re after a commercially switched-on professional with strong maritime relationships and an appetite for innovation.

You’ll ideally bring:
  • Proven sales or business development experience in maritime and/or SaaS
  • An established network across the German shipping market, with bonus points for wider Northern Europe exposure
  • Strong EQ and the ability to listen deeply, build trust, and tailor compelling solutions to customer needs
  • A track record of working cross-functionally to get things done in evolving or high-growth environments
Bonus points if:
  • You’ve worked in a scale-up or digital-first maritime setting
  • You’re comfortable taking initiative, adapting quickly, and helping shape strategy on the go
  • You’ve got the mindset to balance long-term relationships with short-term sales targets
