Role Overview
The successful candidate will work closely with the Business Development Director based in Geneva, providing analytical and strategic support to identify, assess, and prioritise commercial opportunities across the marine stakeholder ecosystem, including shipowners, charterers, brokers, financiers, and traders.
This role is pivotal in shaping data-informed service offerings, improving commercial decision-making, and enhancing the organisation’s visibility in key markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, analyse, and synthesise market, commercial, and stakeholder data to support the Director’s decision-making
- Identify trends, opportunities, and risks within the wider marine ecosystem to inform new service development
- Support the creation of presentations, reports, and business cases for internal and external stakeholders
- Assist in stakeholder engagement by providing research and insights to strengthen relationships with shipowners, charterers, brokers, and financial partners
- Collaborate with internal product, innovation, and R&D teams to translate commercial insights into actionable service development initiatives
- Contribute to marketing, communication, and brand visibility efforts by supplying relevant data and analysis for marine stakeholder segments
- Experience within the maritime industry, ideally with exposure to shipowners, charterers, traders, brokers, or financial stakeholders
- Strong analytical skills with experience in business analysis, data-driven decision support, or market research
- Knowledge of the regulatory, operational, and commercial landscape of the marine industry
- Fluent in English; additional languages (particularly French) would be advantageous
- Strategic, self-motivated, and comfortable operating in a hybrid global environment
