We are recruiting for an Automation Engineer to work alongside technology vendors, consultants, IT, and operational staff to troubleshoot, identify improvement opportunities, and support the integrated technologies which enable the company's world-class, automated operations.
They will apply their problem-solving skills to support and optimize operational processes and industrial equipment, being capable of tying together multiple systems to achieve business objectives.
They will require an industrial/operational/mechanical skillset with some a good level of software / IT knowledge and at least 1st-year university level statistical methods/data analytics.
This position will help to lead the direction and growth of the new team as part of a collaborative environment with other engineers and support teams, transforming business objectives into operational actions.
You should have a Bachelor's degree in system/industrial/mechanical/software engineering or related field of study.
Ideally you will have 2-3 years of Systems administration experience with exposure to Linux and Windows in a professional setting.
Occasional travel – Weekend, holiday and on-call hours may be required.
