- Negotiating, Selecting and Coordinating with Manpower agents (local & abroad) to close out
- the current and future manpower requirements.
- Provide current and prospective employees with information about policies, job duties, working conditions, Disciplinary Actions, wages, and opportunities for promotion and employee benefits
- Serve as a link between management and employees by handling questions, interpreting and administering contracts and helping resolve work-related problems.
- Responsible for crew change & rotation based on Business, Clients and Charterers.
- Overall personnel administration, plan, direct, supervise & coordinate work activities with subordinates for visa processing, new appointments, Leave management, ticket Booking, security pass, document and certificates Expiry, promotions, Crew movements, demotions, suspensions and dismissals
- Schedule Crew trainings and Medical based on the client requirements and ensures that it is obtained on time.
- Manages the development and implementation of Human Resources department, goals, objectives, policies, priorities for each function and recommend for changes.
- Plans, organizes, directs, coordinates the Human Resources Department's work plan; assigns roles and responsibilities of subordinates; reviews and evaluates work methods and procedures; meets with crews to identify and resolve problems.
- Conduct Exit Interviews.
- Should have strong awareness about Company Safety, Quality & Environmental Policies
- Executing HR Plan for the organization by meeting business perspective and client requirements.
- Accountable for successful delivery of all HR functions and processes of the Company.
- Provides advice on Human Resources issues to employee and management, and ensuring that policies and procedures are consistent. Maintaining all machine spare parts coming from vessels for maintenance.
- Management
- Prior 4-5 years’ experience in Human Resource Department in similar position.
- Should have good knowledge in STCW & MLC conventions.
- Proactive and Assertive.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, management and presentation skills
- Self-starter with ability to initiate plans and implement them in order to meet the business plans and goals.
