The Role: Driving Insight and Financial Clarity As a Finance Analyst / Reporting Specialist, you’ll be central to the global finance function, working closely with the CFO and leadership team to provide accurate reporting, deep analysis, and process enhancements that support commercial decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Reporting & Compliance – Prepare accurate internal and external reporting packs, ensuring compliance with local and international regulations.
- Management Reporting & Analysis – Deliver analysis and insights on business performance, highlighting trends, risks, and opportunities to the leadership team.
- Process & Systems Improvement – Enhance reporting tools, streamline workflows, and improve financial controls to support scalability.
- Business Partnering – Collaborate with the CFO, senior leadership, and global stakeholders to provide financial transparency and inform strategic decisions.
- A qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with 5+ years’ experience, now specialising in financial reporting and analysis.
- Background in shipping, financial services, or brokerage preferred.
- Strong analytical skills, able to interpret complex financial data and provide clear, actionable insights.
- Tech-savvy, with experience in financial systems and reporting tools; comfortable improving processes and driving efficiency.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present financial information confidently to senior stakeholders.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken).
