Job Description

We’re looking for an adaptable engineer with experience in diesel-electric propulsion, strong electrical skills, and a curiosity for new technology. This is a hands-on, varied role in a close-knit team, offering the chance to develop your skills while contributing to the safe and efficient operation of our clients vessels.

Details:
  • Salary: 52,000 - 57,000
  • Rotation: 3-weeks-on, 3-weeks-off
  • Permanent Contract

Desirable Qualifcation/Experience:
  • Chief Engineer Certificate of Competency (Motor ships only, or Motor & Steam, III/2 or III/3 <9000kW)
  • Second Engineer Certificate of Competency (Motor ships only, or Motor & Steam, III/2)
  • Knowledge of diesel-electric propulsion systems
  • Ship Health and Safety Officer qualification
  • Working knowledge of budgetary procedures
  • Experience with maintenance information systems
  • Familiarity with IMO, SOLAS, MED, ISM, ISPS, STCW, and MLC codes
