The UK Chamber of Shipping will be hosting a much-anticipated Autumn Lunch this November and at Faststream Recruitment we are looking forward to attending.

This will mark the Chamber’s first ever Autumn Lunch in Southampton, the home of Faststream’s headquarters, and a global hub for all things maritime and shipping.

The event is set to take place at the prestigious Southampton Harbour Hotel on Wednesday the 2nd of November 2022.

Sponsored by V. Group and Yara, the event will begin with a thought-provoking Q&A session. Chaired by the Chambers President and Chairman of V. Group, Graham Westgart. Guests will have the opportunity to leverage Graham’s extensive knowledge and expertise, as he shares his thoughts on the future of UK Shipping.

“I’m looking forward to hearing from members and networking with them at our Autumn Lunch. It’s a great chance for me to hear directly from the membership about their concerns and ambitions for the Chamber. I hope members take the opportunity to come along.” – Graham Westgart

Following Graham’s speech, you can expect an engaging drinks reception. You’ll be networking with likeminded industry professionals from some of the most prestigious businesses in shipping. This is a fantastic opportunity to delve into the latest trends, innovations, and goings-on in the world of shipping.

If that wasn’t enough, you’ll be treated to a delicious three-course meal, tea, and coffee.

We are thrilled to be attending and hosting a table at the event. Representing our specialist shipping recruitment team will be Martin Bennell, Managing Director - Europe, Middle East, Africa and the Americas.
