Martin Bennell, Managing Director of Faststream will be taking part in the panel discussion: Positioned with Purpose: Attracting the Next Generation of Talent from 12:00 pm to 12:40 pm on Thursday the 30th of March 2023, located in room 209 A/B.
With the maritime industry currently battling employee shortages and challenges around recruitment, this session will focus on how employers can recruit the best people into their teams.
Martin will join experts in debating what the next generation of maritime professionals will want from their careers and how employers can urgently adapt to attract the future workforce. Expect to hear some key stats from our Cruise Employment Survey Report 2023 too.

New for 2023
Seatrade 2023 promises to offer something different for everyone. The event’s new relax and re-energise initiative aims to provide a focus on wellness, in a busy and fast-paced industry.
We love to get involved in important initiatives, so Martin Bennell will be leading and coaching a swim and coaching session at the newly opened International Hall of Fame pool (Fort Lauderdale Aquatic Center). The session will take place on Wednesday the 29th of March from 8 am to 9.30 am EST.
As well as being our Managing Director, Martin is the current European Masters Champion and British Record Holder. It is not every day that a full-time Managing Director of a global business can say that.
This is an incredible and once in a lifetime opportunity to learn from the best and engage with other industry professionals in a fun and informal setting.
Come along to simply blow away the cobwebs from the night before or kick start the day with a full training session and challenge Martin to a race.
