The conference

The CMA conference is world famous amongst shipping and maritime professionals. With the most respected and high-profile thought leaders taking the spotlight to share their invaluable expertise.

The conference hosts in-depth discussions concerning the hottest and most pressing industry topics. What makes the CMA conference so unique is that it is interactive. Meaning you’ll have the opportunity to ask your questions to the industry leaders who can answer them.

2023 marks the 38th edition of the CMA Shipping Conference, with this year’s theme being ‘Collaboration for Transition’. Head to the conference to discuss key topics regarding, Decarbonisation, Green Shipping, Digitalisation and Big Data, Bunkering, Seafarer Wellbeing, Cybersecurity, Finance, Domestic Policy and Strategy, Energy Transition and Route Optimisation.

We are also delighted to share that Martin Bennell, Managing Director – Europe, Middle East, Africa and the Americas of Faststream Recruitment will be joining influential leaders as a keynote speaker and panellist for two sessions. Martin will be joining in on delivering in-depth discussions and providing expertise on key industry topics. Sessions include:

Supplier Expo

Over 80 of the world’s leading suppliers and exhibitors will be taking over the exhibitor floor to display the most innovative shipping solutions.

You’ll be able to explore the latest maritime technology, and all the most evolved products.

We are looking forward to learning from suppliers and hearing about their latest products. The supplier expo hall always has a great atmosphere. For this reason alone, we recommend having a browse.

Networking

With industry professionals attending the CMA Shipping Conference from all over the world, there will be endless networking opportunities. Whether you want to meet up with clients, see some familiar faces or make new business relationships.

You can also see a full list of the shipping and maritime businesses that will be in attendance here.

The Commodore Award

The Commodore Award Gala Dinner is the highlight of the annual CMA Conference. Last year Gary Vogel, CEO of Eagle Bulk Shipping Inc was awarded the Commodore Award. We early anticipate who will be this year’s award winner.

Each year, the Commodore Award is awarded to an individual who has made a positive impact on the growth and development of the maritime industry.

You can find out more about the Commodore Award here.

What next?

Our Executive Maritime team will be in attendance, including Martin Bennell, Managing Director, David Mace, Lead Recruitment Consultant and Lee Williams, Lead Recruitment Consultant.
