My client is a leading offshore vessel owner and operator based in Aberdeen, looking to hire a new Vessell Superintendent due to continued growth and expansion.

The role offers the option to for some remote working on a Monday and Friday, and the exciting opportunity to join a company focused on diversification and the expansion of their fleet into renewables and SOV market. 

In this role, you will be responsible for the technical management of the assigned vessels, ensuring they remain in Class at all times, and working within the budget set for each vessel. Reporting into the Technical Manager and Technical Director, you will need to ensure all machinery and navigational electronics are operated and maintained. You will be responsible for arranging and supervising vessel repairs and maintenance work including dry dock periods, amongst various other duties.  

The Ideal candidate will have: - 

- Sea going experience as a Chief, 2nd or 3rd Engineer 
- Hold a minimum OOW Unlimited Engineering Certificate of Competency - 2nd or Chief Engineer Preferred OR Equivalent Electrical Qualifications 
- Sea going experience in the Offshore sector 
- Shore based experience in a similar role is essential  
- Ability to work independently, as part of a team and under pressure 
  
In order to be considered you must have the existing right to live and work in the UK. You must either be based in Aberdeen or be willing to relocate when this becomes necessary.
