Faststream are working with a global leader in the Energy Industry, they are seeking a Vessel Superintendent. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Chief Engineer with offshore and onshore management experience to apply their skills in a dynamic and challenging environment.
As the Vessel Superintendent, you will be responsible for maintaining the asset in a safe condition and in compliance with specifications and class. You will ensure maximized availability, reliability, and efficiency of the vessel(s), permanent equipment, and crew while adhering to approved budgets. The successful candidate will drive and promote HSEQ behavior on the vessel and will report to the Fleet Manager as part of the Fleet and Equipment group. In addition, the Vessel Superintendent will be required to build and maintain strong working relationships with regional clients, vessel owners, crew management companies, and internal project teams.

To be considered for this role, you must have a Chief Engineer Unlimited CoC, with time in rank preferred. Offshore experience and onshore management of marine vessels is essential, along with in-depth knowledge of ship capabilities and operating limits. Knowledge of IMO, class and flag, and ISM requirements is also required, along with strong leadership, managerial and organizational skills. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written in English, are essential, along with good stakeholder management skills.
