We are currently supporting the hiring for a competent Technical Superintendent for a global shipping conglomerate. Position to be based in Chennai.
This role involves overseeing the technical operations of a fleet of oil/product (MR/LR) tankers, ensuring their safe and efficient performance. Key responsibilities include providing technical expertise and guidance, monitoring vessel performance and maintenance, collaborating with onboard personnel and shore-based teams, developing maintenance plans, managing budgets, and staying updated on industry regulations.
The ideal candidate should have served on board relevant tanker vessels as a Chief Engineer, along with several years of shore-based experience in technical management, similarly for oil/product tankers.
