Our client is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Technical Superintendent to oversee their LNG carrier fleet. As a Technical Superintendent, you will play a crucial role in managing a fleet of LNG carriers. Your responsibilities will include conducting vessel inspections, surveys, and audits to identify maintenance and repair needs. You will plan and supervise dry-dockings, repairs, and modifications, ensuring timely completion and cost-effectiveness. Monitoring and coordinating vessel maintenance activities, including spare parts availability, will be essential to ensure smooth operations. Additionally, you will provide technical support to vessel crews, troubleshoot technical issues, and promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
Key Requirements:
- MEO Class 1 COC. Served up to Chief Engineer on LNG carriers.
- At least 1 year of shore-based experience as a Technical Superintendent managing LNG carriers.
- Working experience with DFDE.
- Additional working experience with FSRU on top of LNG carriers will be an added advantage.
