Location: Middle East (Qatar or Dubai) Relocation support available
A growing global fleet of offshore vessels is seeking an experienced Technical Superintendent to join its regional offices in the Middle East.
You will be responsible for the safe, efficient, and cost-effective technical management of a fleet of offshore support vessels. The role involves close liaison with vessel crews, ensuring compliance with class and flag requirements, overseeing maintenance and dry-docking activities, and supporting the continuous improvement of vessel performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day technical operations of assigned offshore vessels (AHTS/PSV or similar).
- Plan, coordinate, and supervise maintenance, repairs, and dry-docking.
- Ensure vessels comply with all class, flag, and company safety and quality standards.
- Provide technical guidance and operational support to onboard engineering teams.
- Monitor vessel performance, budgets, and maintenance costs.
- Prepare technical reports and manage relationships with suppliers and service providers.
- Must have sailed as Chief Engineer on offshore vessels, ideally AHTS or PSV.
- Proven experience ashore as a Technical Superintendent managing offshore support vessels.
- Strong technical knowledge of vessel systems, maintenance planning, and compliance.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to relocate to Qatar or Dubai (relocation assistance provided).
