Our client, A well-established and globally respected ship management company is seeking an experienced Technical Superintendent to oversee their fleet of chemical tankers.

Based in Singapore, this is a rewarding opportunity for a technically strong and solutions-driven individual looking to play a key role in vessel performance, safety, and compliance.

*Open to qualified applicants from overseas. Relocation package will be provided for the right candidate along with family. 

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure all technical operations of assigned chemical tankers comply with contractual obligations and industry standards.
  • Serve as the main technical point of contact for client representatives, fostering strong working relationships.
  • Provide ongoing technical and operational support to your fleet, including troubleshooting and performance monitoring.
  • Oversee planned maintenance systems, coordinate repairs, and manage dry-docking schedules from planning to execution.
  • Monitor and manage vessel budgets, ensuring cost efficiency and transparency.
  • Ensure full compliance with international maritime regulations, class, and flag state requirements.
  • Conduct regular vessel inspections and internal audits, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Promote a robust Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality (HSEQ) culture across the fleet.
  • Drive continuous improvement across technical operations and maintenance standards.

Requirements:
  • Valid Chief Engineer’s Certificate of Competency Class 1 
  • At least 12 months of sailing experience as Chief Engineer
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a shore-based Technical Superintendent role
  • Prior exposure to chemical tankers is highly preferred
