We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Technical Superintendent to oversee the technical and operational aspects of their tanker vessels. Your role will be crucial in maintaining high standards and ensuring smooth, efficient operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Vessel Supervision: Support and supervise vessel command in all aspects, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
- Documentation: Ensure all statutory and class certificates are up to date and compliant with regulations.
- Port Coordination: Liaise with terminal operators, service engineers, and shipping agents to ensure smooth operations.
- System Audits: Conduct audits and evaluations of vessel and in-house systems.
- Budget Management: Prepare and manage budgets, ensuring financial performance aligns with expectations.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marine/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or Naval Architecture.
- Certification: Chief Engineer Certificate of Competency (Motor or Steam).
- Experience: Minimum 1 year as a Technical Superintendent or 3 years as a Chief Engineer on board Tanker vessels
