Looking to take the next step in tanker operations? Our client is seeking a motivated and detail-driven Tanker Operator to join a high-performing team focused on biofuels, chemicals, and clean petroleum products (CPP). This role places you at the heart of global cargo movements, where you will oversee the end-to-end operational process—ensuring voyages run efficiently, compliantly, and profitably.
You will be the key operational link between chartering, brokers, vessel owners, and internal teams, taking ownership from fixture confirmation to the resolution of post-voyage matters. In addition to overseeing day-to-day voyage activities, you will be responsible for reviewing freight and hire payments, managing laytime calculations, tracking time bars, and resolving any claims that arise.
We are looking for someone with a strong background in tanker operations - ideally with exposure to biofuels or chemical cargoes - who thrives under pressure, communicates clearly, and has a sharp eye for operational detail. Proficiency in Excel and a proactive mindset are essential.
