My client is a leading offshore vessel operator currently going through a major period of diversification into the Renewables sector. Due to this exciting period of change we have a newly created position for a Sustainability Manager (ESG) to join their team in Aberdeen.

In this role, you will be responsible for developing the ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) policies and procedures providing Technical expertise relating to issues around sustainability and working towards overall decarbonization of the existing and new vessels in the fleet.

This is an exciting role for an Engineer from a Naval Architecture or Marine Engineer / Electrical Engineering background to be at the forefront of the renewables sector as the traditional offshore Oil and Gas sector moves rapidly towards Net Zero and Sustainability goals between now and 2050.

The Ideal candidate will have: 
  • Degree Education in Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering or Electrical Engineering
  • Sailing as 2nd Engineer on Offshore DP2 Vessels desirable 
  • Knowledge of Diesel Electrical engines and DP2 systems
  • Shore based experience since graduation is desirable but junior candidates can be considered
In order to be considered you must have the existing right to live and work in the UK. You must be based permanently in Aberdeen and be prepared to work a minimum of 3 days per week in the office.
