Job Description

The Subsea Construction Planner will be responsible for planning and executing subsea construction projects, ensuring that all work is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The successful candidate will have a strong background in subsea construction and project planning, and will be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop detailed construction plans for subsea projects, including timelines, budgets, and resource requirements.
  • Coordinate with project teams to ensure that all work is completed according to schedule and budget.
  • Monitor project progress and identify potential risks or issues, and work with project teams to develop and implement solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant safety and environmental regulations.
  • Review and approve project designs, specifications, and drawings.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.
  • Attend project meetings and provide regular progress reports to senior management.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of new project management strategies and procedures.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in subsea construction project planning.
  • Strong understanding of subsea construction techniques and methodologies.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in using project management software such as Primavera P6.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with project teams, clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.
  • Familiarity with relevant safety and environmental regulations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Experience in using Primavera P6 is a must for this position. The successful candidate will be expected to use this software to develop detailed project plans, monitor project progress, and identify potential issues or risks. They should also have a thorough understanding of project scheduling and resource allocation using Primavera P6.

They are flexible and you will be able to work in the Aberdeen or Bergen office depending on your preference.
