In this role, you will be responsible for the vessel operations and maintenance schedules, including working very closely with the Clients to ensure they are informed at all times of all issues. You will be fully responsible for managing the Clients Requirements and KPIs as well as managing contractors, procurement deliveries, fuel and water deliver. You will be responsible for maintenance periods, keeping the assets in line with Class and Flag requirements as well as monitoring the Vessel Budgets, amongst various other duties.
The Ideal candidate will have: -
- Sailed as Chief or 2nd Engineer on SOVs OR Offshore Vessels
- Hold a minimum Chief Engineer Unlimited Engineering Certificate of Competency
- Shore based experience in a similar role is essential
- Experience in a role that is heavily client facing or as a client representative role is essential
- Ability to work independently
In order to be considered you must have the existing right to live and work in the UK. You must either be based in Newcastle or be willing to relocate when this becomes necessary.
