JOB PURPOSE
In line with current and future tourism trends, the Shore Excursions Product Development Manager oversees the product content and delivery, negotiates costs and develops new tours with the aim to grow revenue and improve guest satisfaction in specific geographical regions.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
• Develop new tour products and manage the shore excursions tour program for selected geographical areas;
• Procure Shore Excursions product in a timely manner to meet seasonal deadlines;
• Identify threats and consumer trends within the assigned geographical region and proposes ad appropriate actions plan;
• Analyze guest service scores by region and develop tactics to ensure continuous improvement;
• Manage the relations with up to 100 tour operators and 1000+ tours; 
• Negotiate with suppliers, follow up their performance and strives to reduce costs;
• Ensure and maximises inventory accuracy;
• Perform site inspections in areas of responsibility;
• Represent the company at selected governmental meetings, association functions, cruise industry events, travel industry conventions, and other meetings as required.

QUALIFICATIONS (skills, competencies, experience)
• 10+ years’ experience in the Shore Excursion Department on board of cruise ships (3000+ customers) is a must;
• 10+ years’ experience in worldwide shore excursion operations is a must;
• Fluent English, good level of Italian. Knowledge of any additional language is a great advantage; 
• Bachelor's degree in tourism or languages;
• Above average knowledge of the Microsoft suite of office products including Excel, Word, PowerPoint & Publisher;
• Strong knowledge of Fidelio is a great advantage;
• Flexibility;
• Strong Analytical Skills;
• Product Knowledge;
• Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
