Reporting to the Production Manager, the Ship Repair Steel Manager will be responsible for the overall safe and efficient operation of the steel workshop and on board repairs of vessels at and away from the shipyard.
Total responsibility for all technical, commercial and production control aspects of the Steel Department and its activities within the company including:
▪ Labour management and budget control
▪ Labour resource planning for current and future contracts
▪ Plant and equipment management
▪ Material management
▪ Adherence to all company policies and procedures
We are looking for a highly experienced individual from the world of ship repair, who has gained significant understanding and management credentials of production and steel fabrication.
