The Role:
Deliver onboard technical support to crew and guests while managing and optimising all IT infrastructure to ensure maximum system availability and excellent end-user service.
Lead, mentor and support IT Officer(s) onboard, acting as the senior IT representative and key liaison between shipboard teams and shoreside IT.
Requirements:
- Previous cruise ship experience as IT Officer/Senior IT Officer
- Maintain, troubleshoot and resolve issues across shipboard hardware and software systems, including Wi-Fi, door access systems, POS, SPMS, MMS, AMOS, MXP, and server/switch infrastructure.
- Experience with VSAT and maritime connectivity
- Solid troubleshooting and stakeholder communication skills
- Strong management and communication skills
- 2 months on 2 months off rotation
- $3987 per month plus accumulated leave pay at the end of each contract
