This attractive position will comprise maintaining, developing and cultivating existing client relationships to increase wallet size, customer satisfaction and potential new business.
In the capacity of a National Account Manager, you will be responsible for the following: -
- Manage multiple accounts domestically
- Manage overall business relationship; customer facing
- Provide strategic and tactical leadership to the local team
- Increased consistency in operational performance
- Improved efficiency and effectiveness
- Market analysis and industry awareness
- Mentor and educate local account manager
- Drives collaborative efforts within team in customer reviews, strategic business plans, value add programs, process improvements and bid management.
- Minimum 3-5 years of successful sales or account management experience in freight forwarding industry
- Excellent communication and interaction skills
- Positive attitude and ability to work independently
- Good commercial sense and cost management
- Experience in Cargo Wise system is a plus
