Faststream Recruitment has partnered a leading freight forwarder to identify, attract and engage a high-performing and experienced National Account Manager for their business.
  
This attractive position will comprise maintaining, developing and cultivating existing client relationships to increase wallet size, customer satisfaction and potential new business.
  
In the capacity of a National Account Manager, you will be responsible for the following: -
  • Manage multiple accounts domestically
  • Manage overall business relationship; customer facing
  • Provide strategic and tactical leadership to the local team
  • Increased consistency in operational performance
  • Improved efficiency and effectiveness
  • Market analysis and industry awareness
  • Mentor and educate local account manager
  • Drives collaborative efforts within team in customer reviews, strategic business plans, value add programs, process improvements and bid management.
To be successful in this position you will need to have the following: -
  • Minimum 3-5 years of successful sales or account management experience in freight forwarding industry
  • Excellent communication and interaction skills
  • Positive attitude and ability to work independently
  • Good commercial sense and cost management
  • Experience in Cargo Wise system is a plus
