Faststream has partnered with a large international organisation who specialises in providing liner shipping services to the maritime and offshore industry.
  
They are looking for an experienced Safety and Governance Manager to join their team in Singapore.
  
The main responsibilities will be to oversee and implement safety strategies across the internal business units, ensuring full compliance to safety audits standards. You should also possess experience presenting, communicating and convincing stakeholders of your recommendations and safety strategies.
  
The ideal candidate will have:
  • Strong QHSE knowledge and experience in developing and implementing a strong QHSE culture
  • Clear understanding of Crisis Management relating to the Shipping industry
  • Good problem solving and presentation skills
  • Strong communication skills, especially when dealing with Top Management
To be successful in this position, you should be comfortable managing internal stakeholders, have strong interpersonal skills, proposing changes for improving Crisis Management and should possess experience with a focus on Global Safety Standards and SOP.
