Faststream are working with an International Engineering Consultancy who are currently looking for a Riser Engineer on a contract basis.
Our client is looking for an experienced Engineer to work within offshore/subsea engineering projects and provide analytical and design services for fixed and flexible risers containing multiphase flow, oil, gas and water injection fluids. You will also be expected to prepare and run Finite Element analysis programs for static and dynamic analysis of fixed and flexible risers.
Candidates should have experience of rigid and flexible riser analysis and design. Comprehensive knowledge of applicable design codes, DNV, ASME, ISO, etc and experience of conceptual, feasibility, pre-FEED and FEED activities.
This is an initial 6 month contract and is likely to be outside IR35 subject to a final review. The role is offered on a hybrid basis with 2 days per week from home.
