This is a hybrid role based in Singapore, offering you the flexibility to work both onsite and remotely while leading high-impact engineering initiatives that support cleaner, smarter, and more efficient vessel operations.
What You'll Do:
- Lead engineering and commissioning of automation and control solutions for marine system projects.
- Oversee all engineering disciplines within assigned projects to ensure delivery on time, on budget, and in line with quality and safety standards.
- Coach engineers and designers in translating conceptual designs into actionable engineering documentation.
- Supervise in-house and outsourced teams across all engineering activities.
- Apply design excellence methods, including simulation, prototyping, and calculations.
- Provide technical input to the sales team and review proposals based on client specifications.
- Degree or Master's in a relevant engineering discipline.
- At least 6 years of experience in automation systems for marine or offshore projects.
- Strong knowledge of PLC systems, 800xA, OPC, communication protocols, software revision tracking tools, and networking.
- Hands-on experience with Power and Energy Management Systems (PEMS), Energy Storage Systems (ESS), Integrated Automation Systems (IAS), Remote Control Systems (RCS), and Enhanced Powerplant Protection Systems (EPPS).
- Understanding of classification society requirements and troubleshooting in marine environments.
- Confident communicator in English, with a collaborative and customer-focused mindset.
