Your Responsibilities
- Serve as an embedded logistics and shipping specialist directly on-site at the client's premises
- Develop shipment forecasts and plans based on material expediting reports
- Coordinate with suppliers to arrange cargo collection and identify optimal shipping schedules
- Liaise with overseas offices to secure freight rates, manage bookings, and track shipment status
- Negotiate with carriers and execute freight bookings
- Initiate shipments, prepare shipping documents, and assign UDR codes
- Manage import/export permits and support customs declaration processes
- Monitor shipment progression daily and provide timely updates to stakeholders
- Join the client's shipment-status meetings and deliver status reports
- Generate quotations and invoices promptly to bill the client
- Collaborate across local and international offices to develop and submit tenders
- Calculate project-level shipment costs, manage P&L per consignment, and compile monthly reports
- Travel flexibly, both domestically and internationally, as required
- 2-3 years of experience in international freight forwarding, preferably within oil & gas or FPSO logistics
- Proven ability to thrive in fast-paced environments and perform well under time constraints
- Comfortable handling stress and working outside standard office hours when necessary
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build stakeholder trust and represent the organization
- Excellent command of English; proficiency in spoken Chinese preferred due to regular interaction with Chinese-speaking clients
- Excellent collaborator and effective team player
- Proficient with Office 365 tools (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams)
- Physically fit and available for national and international travel
