An excellent role for an experienced Port Engineer / Technical Superintendent, looking for an opportunity to work remotely from home.

The company own and operate a fleet of Offshore vessels and the Port Engineer will be responsible for managing and ensuring the smooth operation, preventative maintenance, repair and refit of the ships and related equipment as required. 

They will ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, prepare specifications for dry-dockings and develop schedules for planned and preventative maintenance. 

They will be able to work from home (based in the US) and be required to travel when needed to vessels/ports/dry docks.

You will ideally have experience working on or with complex offshore vessels with diesel engine experience; dry-dock or major repair experience and good knowledge of ABS, USCG and international regulations. 

Ideally we are looking for someone who holds or has held a USCG Chief Engineer or First Assistant Engineer license and sailed on offshore vessels, but will also consider experienced Port Engineers / Technical Superintendents with Assistant Engineer licenses. 

You will need to be a US Citizen and able to obtain US Secret Clearance and a TWIC Card and be living in the US.
