This is your opportunity to lead from the front—overseeing operations, driving efficiency, and expanding business across the West Coast’s thriving maritime sector. You’ll report directly to executive leadership and play a key role in shaping the company’s strategic direction while leading a skilled, hands-on team.
What You’ll Do:
- Oversee all areas of plant operations — from production, safety, and quality control to sales and business development.
- Identify and secure new opportunities within shipbuilding, repair yards, and marine infrastructure.
- Build lasting client relationships and grow the company’s market presence.
- Lead and mentor talented team members to achieve excellence and safety compliance.
- Apply lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement tools to drive efficiency and performance.
- Collaborate with production and estimating teams to create competitive bids and winning proposals.
- Set and meet financial goals, monitor key metrics, and champion growth initiatives.
- A proven track record in business development, ideally in maritime, shipbuilding, or fabrication industries.
- 5+ years of plant or operations management experience in metal fabrication.
- Strong technical knowledge of sheet metal processes, welding, and quality systems.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and team-building skills.
- Experience with ERP and CRM systems is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Management, Business, or a related field preferred.
