Our client is an globally known shipowner with a diverse fleet of bulkers, tankers and containerships.
They are currently looking to add an experienced Operations Manager to their team that specializes in operating container vessels.
This would be a great opportunity for someone that comes from a seafaring background and has sailed as Chief Officer/ Master on container vessels before moving into a shore-based commercial operations role.
The successful candidate will have experience of handling the full operation of containers or alternatively someone that has 1 or 2 years’ experience as a Planner since coming ashore.
This role will report into the General Fleet Manager, Operations and will take responsibility for around 10 vessels.
Its a great opportunity to join a real leader in their field who have a reputation for progressing and looking after their employees.
To be considered for this role it would be ideal to have a combination of seafaring and shore-based experience.
