The Nautical Advisor will be responsible for providing nautical advice and support in accordance with industry standards, such as OCIMF, SIGTTO, Classification Society, and Flag State. They will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with HSSE expectations and relevant regulations, participating in safety programs and initiatives, supporting marine self-verification activities and audits, developing marine procedures and processes that meet industry standards, and other tasks related to marine operations.

The ideal candidate holds a Class 1 Master Mariner license and have extensive experience on FPSO’s in a managerial or superintendent capacity. Extensive experience in the offshore oil and gas industry, with a focus on FPSO/FSO, SBM/CALM buoys maintenance, offshore moorings, offshore hoses, and other floating systems. Proficiency in various applicable industry codes and standards (e.g. API, ISO, ABS, DNV) and risk management activities. Substantial experience in inspection / survey of offshore marine asset, mooring and riser integrity.
