Faststrream are working with a UK based bulk liquid storage terminals operator who are actively looking for a Mechanical Reliability Supervisor to join their Essex based terminal.
The role is a mixture of supervision and hands-on maintenance.
Key objectives include:
- To ensure that Terminal maintenance is managed safely and efficiently.
- Ensure work is in line with UK Safety Management Systems.
- Produce engineering and maintenance procedures for new systems.
- Ensure that all contractors working on the site comply with site rules and regulations.
- Manage the CMMS system and ensure work is completed within the required time frame.
- Supervision, training and mentoring of mechanical technicians.
Candidates should have knowledge and experience of inspecting machinery, pump valves etc, ability to understand technical drawings and documents. Ability to use Autocad would be an added benefit. Candidate should be a qualified to a minimum of ONC/HNC in Mechanical Engineering and have Supervisory experience as well as previous work experience on a COMAH site (Ideally within a Process, Chemical or Petrochemical environment)
Candidates will be working a 35 hour week and offers a generous package including pension, life assurance , Christmas bonus etc
