Roles and Responsibilities.
- Monitor and analyze short-term market trends, including supply, demand, and pricing dynamics, to identify trading opportunities.
- Assess and manage market and trading risks by conducting risk analysis and developing risk mitigation strategies.
- Develop and implement short-term trading strategies based on market analysis and risk assessments.
- Utilize market data and trading data to generate reports, forecasts, and models that inform trading decisions.
- Collaborate with trading teams, communicate market insights, and provide recommendations to optimize trading activities.
- Collate, present and draft market analysis for internal stakeholder.
- Minimum Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of proven experience in short-term market analysis and trading within the commodities or energy sector in LNG/LPG
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with proficiency in data analysis tools.
- Knowledge of fuel oil markets, trading strategies, and risk management.
