You will assist with and ensure the company’s vessels are maintained and operated in a safe and efficient manor, including acting as Deputy DPA, Deputy CSO. You will act as assistant to the HSE Manager supporting with vessel audits and incident investigations, amongst various other duties.
The ideal candidate:
- Sea doing background as a Deck Officer
- Chief Mater / Master Unlimited COC desirable
- Previous experience in a similar shore based marine safety role
- Knowledge of ISM and ISPS desirable
Ideally, the client is looking for someone happy to be office based however there will be flexibility for some home working in line with the companies hybrid working policy.
