As a Marine Commercial Operator, you will play a pivotal role in managing the financial aspects of ship operations. You will work closely with ship owners and financial institutions to handle loan agreements, financial transactions, and ensure the smooth financial operation fleets.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate financial risks and provide recommendations for risk mitigation.
- Manage cash flow for assigned vessels, including budgeting and forecasting.
- Prepare and report on annual budget, support with analysis and financial model
- Maintain accurate financial records and reports for ship operations.
- Liaise with financial institutions and banks for loan disbursements and repayments.
- Work with our accounting team to reconcile financial statements.
- Analyze market trends and provide financial insights to optimize vessel operations.
- Assist in financial decision-making related to vessel acquisitions and sales.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Previous experience in maritime finance or commercial operations is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of loan agreements, financial analysis, and risk assessment.
- Strong financial modeling and budgeting skills.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
