The Role
You will:
- Oversee the planning and execution of vessel maintenance, repair and overhaul programmes.
- Coordinate with fleet and technical managers on newbuild supervision, commissioning, and sea trials.
- Drive safety, sustainability, and innovation initiatives within fleet engineering operations.
- Work closely with procurement, business development, and overseas business units to support projects, tenders, and asset readiness.
- Lead and mentor cross-functional teams, fostering a strong culture of safety, collaboration, and operational excellence.
- Degree in Marine, Mechanical, or related Engineering discipline.
- Minimum 6 years’ experience managing tugs or harbour craft fleets.
- Proven background in both shipyard / ship-repair facilities and as a Technical Superintendent or equivalent.
- Strong understanding of vessel systems, class and flag requirements, and engineering best practices.
- Seafaring experience not required but good to have.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Open to Singapore-based candidates only (local employment, no visa sponsorship provided).
- Open to travelling for work
