Docking Infrastructure Project Manager – Luxury River Travel

A global leader in luxury river travel is seeking an accomplished Docking Infrastructure Project Manager to drive the expansion and optimisation of its docking portfolio across Europe.

This strategic role sits at the intersection of guest experience, infrastructure development, and stakeholder engagement, requiring a blend of vision, operational expertise, and negotiation acumen.
The Opportunity The Docking Infrastructure Project Manager will spearhead initiatives to secure, develop, and enhance docking positions along key European rivers. Acting as the primary liaison with authorities, communities, and technical teams, this leader will ensure every project not only meets operational requirements but also anticipates future growth and sustainability goals.

Key Accountabilities
  • Define and implement strategy for securing new and existing docking infrastructure across core European markets.
  • Lead negotiations with river authorities, municipalities, and key stakeholders to ensure favourable agreements and long-term partnerships.
  • Oversee the planning, design, and construction of new docking facilities, ensuring compliance with regulatory frameworks and alignment with brand standards.
  • Drive infrastructure upgrades and technical improvements across acquired docking positions.
  • Mitigate risk through robust project evaluation, forward planning, and proactive stakeholder management.
  • Maintain operational continuity by ensuring timely renewal of permissions and certifications.
