About the Role:
This role is a key part of Ambrey’s expanding LATAM-focused risk intelligence capability. You’ll support or lead the delivery of analytical insights, post-incident reports, and strategic maritime guidance for clients operating in and around Latin America.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and analyse key threats across LATAM, including narcotics trafficking, piracy, armed robbery, and regional instability
- Oversee or support the curation of maritime security events and risk indicators
- Provide clients with timely post-incident advice and best practice recommendations
- Contribute to security routing guidance and threat assessments through our Guardian platform
- Participate in client briefings, webinars, and social media insights
- Support the continuous improvement of analytical products and processes
- Master’s and Bachelor’s in a relevant field (e.g. Security Studies, International Relations)
- 3–4 years’ experience in maritime risk analysis, with a strong LATAM focus
- Strong English proficiency (written and spoken)
- Intermediate or better proficiency in Spanish and/or Portuguese preferred
- Prior experience managing junior analysts or graduates is advantageous
- In-depth understanding of private maritime security and BMP guidance
