- Frequent communication with the customer, building and maintaining the knowledge of the customers' needs and requirements, driving smarter set-up between the customers' voyage management system and the various group products
- Help customers with the digital transformation journey, acting as a consultant
- Work closely with the customer various departments, operations, finance/accounting, business process, and applications functions, legal, compliance
- Enhance the customer relationship and commercial opportunities
- Support upselling by capturing opportunities for our solutions and a suitable entry point
- Acquire and maintain strong relationships with key contacts within our customers' organizations at a senior level including legal and compliance departments
- Address and resolve customers' complaints and questions
- Act as the main point of contact between the customers and other internal teams
- Negotiate contracts/fees with customers
- Attend relevant conventions/conferences as appropriate
- Experience in senior shipping role, either Operations or Chartering
- Commercial / customer-focused background
- Experience in either the Tanker, Bulk, or Projects Operations sector
- Good Post Graduate Degree or Master Mariner
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- The ability to handle multiple customer accounts
- Ability to work effectively remotely, be self-driven and show initiative
- Be based in the United States - preferably Houston but not essential
- Work for a globally renowned Saas company
- Being part of a Global team with frequent Global travel required
