Exclusive Opportunity – HSE Manager (UK Remote)

I am exclusively partnered with one of the leading offshore service providers and one of the most established CTV owners in the industry, supporting the offshore wind and renewable energy sectors.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced HSE professional to take a senior leadership role, driving health, safety, and environmental standards across a dynamic and growing business.

Role Overview:

As HSE Manager, you will be responsible for leading and embedding a proactive safety culture across multiple projects and operations. You will provide strategic oversight while also engaging in hands-on HSE management, ensuring compliance with all regulatory, statutory, and company standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, implement, and maintain HSE policies, procedures, and management systems aligned with ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and other relevant standards.
  • Ensure compliance with UK and international HSE regulations, including offshore-specific legislation.
  • Lead incident investigations, risk assessments, audits, and inspections, recommending corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Provide HSE guidance and training to shore-based and offshore teams to promote safe working practices.
  • Collaborate with operational leadership to integrate HSE objectives into business operations and project planning.
  • Act as the company’s HSE representative to clients, regulators, and third-party auditors.
  • Maintain and develop certifications and accreditations, including DPA, CSO, and ISO compliance where applicable.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance HSE performance across all activities.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in an HSE leadership role within offshore, marine, or renewable energy sectors.
  • Shore-based experience managing safety for offshore operations, ideally within a CTV or service vessel context.
  • Strong knowledge of UK HSE legislation and international standards (ISO 45001, ISO 14001).
  • Experience with DPA, CSO, or similar offshore certification and compliance processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and embed a proactive safety culture at all levels of an organization.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work remotely while maintaining oversight across multiple projects and sites.
