Job Description:
You will play a pivotal role in overseeing the technical aspects the company's offshore vessels. This position is critical to maintaining vessel safety, operational efficiency, and compliance with industry standards. 
 
Key Responsibilities:
  
Technical Oversight:
  
Ensure the proper maintenance and operation of all mechanical and electrical systems on the vessels.

Conduct regular inspections, identify issues, and implement corrective actions.
Oversee dry-docking, repairs, and maintenance projects to ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.

Safety Compliance:
  
Implement and enforce safety procedures and regulations to ensure the highest level of safety on board.

Collaborate with the safety department to conduct safety drills and ensure emergency preparedness.
  
  
Supervision & Team Leadership:
  
Lead and mentor a team of engineers, technical officers, and crew members.
Provide guidance and training to enhance the technical skills of your team.

Project Management:
  
Manage and oversee technical projects, including vessel upgrades, installations, and modifications.
Coordinate project schedules, budgets, and resources effectively.

Documentation & Reporting:
  
Maintain accurate records of technical maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs.
Generate reports on vessel technical status and project progress.

Knowledge Transfer:
  
Serve as the chief engineer, responsible for both mechanical and electrical systems.
Share your expertise and knowledge with team members to enhance their technical capabilities.


Collaboration:
  
Collaborate with other departments, including operations, engineering, and safety, to ensure smooth vessel operations.

Qualifications:
  
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field (preferred).
Relevant sailing experiences at Chief Engineer Level
Extensive experience as a Fleet Manager / Technical Manager /General Manager
Strong knowledge of mechanical, instrumentation, and control systems.
Leadership and team management skills.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
In-depth knowledge of safety regulations and best practices.
Effective communication and reporting skills.
  
Rotation and Benefits:
  
This position will be rotational in nature exact rotation is negotiable.


Accommodation and in-country travel will be provided.


Competitive salary of 160-170K USD commensurate with experience.
