The Company 
I am currently working with a growing Cruise company, and have an exciting opportunity for a Fleet Nautical Instructors Manager to work in the companies Head Office, based in the outskirts of London.

The Role 

The main objective of this role is to ensure that Nautical procedures follow International and Company standards at all times, by acting as the line manager for the Fleet Nautical instructor & auditor, you are responsible for keeping nautical procedures up to company and international standards. 

Key Accountabilities

- Coordinates a team of Nautical instructors by providing tools and visit schedules

- Monitors the correct applications of Nautical Procedures on-board the Fleet of vessels, highlighting the best practices and areas for improvement by proposing amendments to nautical related procedures

- Monitors the nautical meeting reports & VDR reviews, partaking to the incident investigation as a subject matter expert

- Liaises with various training centres in providing the company courses (Nautical and Environmental) 

- Manages new projects pertinent to the role and supports the existing department projects, E-log, FOS
  
The ideal candidate will have: 

- Fluent English knowledge
  
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
  
- Relevant Nautical High School Diploma 
  
- At least 3 years’ experience as a Nautical and BRM instructor
  
- Excellent knowledge of Bridge Instrumentation
  
- Excellent Knowledge of the latest Maritime Procedural practises
  
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  
- Ability to frequently travel to various destinations
  
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
  
- Comfortable with multitasking and great follow-up skills
