Job Description

We are seeking qualified Engineer Officers to join our team on a Fixed-Term Contract until March 2026.  We are looking for motivated and adaptable professionals who can start as soon as possible.

Key Details
  • Contract type: Fixed-Term (until March 2026)
  • Shift pattern: 4 days on / 4 days off (24-hour operation – early, mid, and late shifts)
  • Location: Southampton, Local candidates only (no onboard accommodation provided)
  • Start date: Immediate / at the earliest opportunity
Requirements
  • Relevant Certificate of Competency (CoC) at one of the levels below.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a 24-hour operational rota.
  • Commitment to safety, reliability, and high operational standards.
  • Must be based locally (no accommodation provided).
Salary Bands (dependent on certification level)
  • Band 4 – EOOW Unlimited or Limited: £47,000
  • Band 3 – 2nd Engineer Unlimited or <3000KW: £48,600
  • Band 2 – Chief Engineer <3000KW: £49,500
  • Band 1 – Chief Engineer Unlimited: £51,700
